After speaking with Randy (the VP of LegalFish), I was pumped. More clients... less time screening through junk cases... little to no risk? Sounded good to me!
So, I decided to call a few of the references that LegalFish gave me. Here were the results:
One attorney told me that he'd "call back later" after I mentioned LegalFish. Another attorney told me "insider" information... but wanted me to edit out the juiciest details of that information before I published it here... and the resulting interview ended up being completely devoid of usable content =(
Good news, though.
(1) Visitors to my website, and readers of my newsletter... responded to my request for reviews.
(2) I did end up speaking with one of LegalFishe's references -- Robert Noa, a personal injury lawyer -- in Boston, MA. He gave me permission to post a snippet of our recorded interview here:

Also, here's an e-mail that I received from an attorney, which expresses the typical attitude of most lawyers, when it comes to LegalFish:
"I am member of LegalFish. So far its been ho-hum, although its support is very good (as far as responding to questions from me). I have a business practice and the overwhelming majority are PI and med mal related, and of those, a good many are from kooks. When I signed up with them, they made me a good offer. That, together with their money-back guarantee sold me. I'm not sure if I'll re-up with them."
(Editor's Note: This is the typical response that I got from attorneys -- they don't get too many good cases, but then again, they don't really have to pay, either. Also -- a surprisingly large number of people got a "good offer" from LegalFish...
Finally -- Despite the quote above, there is no money-back guarantee -- as far as I know. Although another attorney also mentioned a money-back guarantee to me.)
Based on the lackluster results that attorneys have reported to me, I've decided to downgrade LegalFish to the "Not Recommended" category in my reviews section.
